A Nonsense Poem
by Henry Blancett
The South Mountain Coward
Eating sour tomatoes
In the shower
For an hour.
He did not know
That he was actually eating
Bowls of powder
He thought it was chowder,
So he spat it out!
He went to the sea to drink
But before he drank
He saw a drowning cow.
He saved the cow
And taught him how
To eat chowder in the shower.
